Ladybirds 

When our Baby bugs are ready for new experiences and ready to explore more independently, they transition to Ladybirds. 

Our Ladybird room offers a more stimulating and challenging environment perfect for toddlers where their interests & schemas are nurtured. 

As an addition to our Caterpillars room, the Ladybirds group have regular opportunities to play alongside and have meals with the older children. 

At this stage many children still have naps, we support this through daily routine to ensure their wellbeing needs are met. 

We encourage children to move to cups/beakers at this stage and limit the use of dummies to times when they may be unsettled and / or sleep times in order to promote early language and communication, and oral health.

With cosy corners, small world, sensory & daily outdoor play, our children grow into confident little learners.
